European Tour

It has been a privilege to have been a friend and a carer for Neil. The twelve years I have worked along beside him has left me with me with many happy memories and much improved quizzing abilities (Neil loved his quiz shows) but one of my favourite memories was when we were on one of our European Tours, while we wandering through Munich city centre we came across a hugh marquee with two good looking German ladies standing at the entrance, I suggested we go talk to them and find out what was happening for a laugh where upon we tried to talk to them in German ,it was so funny that even when they did not understand a word any of us was saying they ushered us in and Lo and Behold it was the Champions League Trophy on display, we were all delighted because Neil loved his football, still not sure that we were even supposed to be in the tent we had the good fortune to have an official photograph taken. It has been a favourite memory of Neil and I with many a laugh remembering it over the years. Truly it has been inspiring to have been part of Neil's life, he always lived it to the full and never let his disability stop him from living a normal life full of adventure. He was absolutely inspirational and he will be sorely missed. I can not believe my friend is gone.
